Sidewinder force feedback prob

Does someone know how you can make the sidewinder force feedback pro 3 work with windows xp? Thanx in advance.

It does work (for most games) under XP but the software that comes with it doesn't. And some games will only occasionally work with it (Flight Sim 2002 for example)

It doesn't work at all with FS 2002, i even installed it several times.

It does work sometimes with FS 2002, but only after about half an hour of uninstalling and reinstalling the joystick. And if you do get it work and you then exit FS 2002 the joystick doesn't work again. It's rather frustrating.

OK, this is what works on my computer, start FS2002, start a flight and just sit at the airport for about 10 minutes, then the joystick will work everytime (at least it does on mine).
