My pc has started shutting down on its own accord. I get the same thing as the blaster virus but i have already installed the patch and updated my antivirus months ago, can anyone help.Virus search finds nothing.
Do you mean like restarting randomly?
Check that your PSU fans are working properly because, like mine, there's a possibility that the fans aren't working causing the PSU to overheat and shutting itself down/rebooting.
Make sure you have the auto-reboot on error uncheck in xp (right click on my computer -> properties -> advanced -> startup and recovery -> settings .. uncheck "automatically restart") so you can see a bsod if you get one. If you do post the error. 🙂
