I use to know how to do this.

I want to remove shutdown from my classic start menu. I know its in regedit or gpedit but im not sure where.

Does anybody know where i can delete this???

once again, i have accomplished my goal by meself.

I have found out where it is.. But thanks anyways peeps

I just want to add the information on how to do this for research reasons, just in case someone does a search.

START/Run
"gpedit.msc"
Select "Local Computer Policy/User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Start Menu & Taskbar"
Enable the option "Disable and remove the Shut Down command"

Warning: This will disable you from using the shutdown command as all users. You can download an MS utility called Shutdown.exe if you wish to have another way to shutdown. By placing this in a hidden place that is not part of the PATH you can keep others from using it. You can also use this utility to shutdown remote PCs. It is both visual and CMD based.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
