Shutdown Problem

Hey I have that one error that says It needs to shutdown in 1:00.... How do I stop that again? I have been getting that error lately....

There was a huge worm out last year that caused just that. It was July/August time I think. There was microsoft updates that fixed the valnerability about that time. Run a virus scan just in case.

click (start) then click (all programs) the go all the way up and it is windows update.

Just turn your firewall on. That will stop it.

You have the sasser.a worm that went out this morning. Check www.symantec.com for help removing the virus. A firewall will help and prevent the packet exploit it uses and allow you to get the update patch from MS that stops it but you won't be able to install it properly without removing the virus first. I've submitted news on it already but waiting on it to hit main site.
