Shut down shortcut

that would make your computer go to "it's now safe to turn off computer"
is to go to command promt and type "tsshutdn" that will shut down computer in 1 min.

use "tsshutdn/?" for more info. good luck

If SP1 is installed allan's tweak advice no longer goes to the 'it is now safe to .........' screen. It shuts it down all the way. Which for me is a pain because I liked the other way. :(

oh it does?man i gota get xp1 somehow. dont feel like playing with it again though. dont want to format all over again :(

this target will do the trick in the meantime;

C:\WINDOWS\system32\tsshutdn.exe 0 /DELAY:0 /POWERDOWN

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
