shut down problems...

i have an Athlon 900 MHZ 128MB RAM GeForce 2 MX400...
on a GIgabyte GA-7ZX-H moterboard
my computer is not shutting down in WINXP
in device manager NT APM/ Legacy Interface Node is disabled, and cannot be enabled (Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37))
can anyone help me?!?!

I had the same problem my self, I found the problem was my joystick in the USB port was casuing the problem, so try removing all your input devices e.g. printers ect and then try shutting it down again

have you made sure you have acpi/apm enabled in your bios?
