My sisters computer restarts whenever we try to shut it down. I have searched on this forum for a fix and have tried everything I could find to fix it but it still wont shutdown. I get no error messages or hints as to why it is doing it. I know its not much to go on but its all I got. By the way it is an old Compaq 5184 running XP Home.
