how can i set a password for shared folders? i ned to allow some users full access, but not for everyone...

Deactivate "Simple File Sharing" (Folder Settings in Control Panel).
Right click on the appropriate folder, select properties and go to the Security tab.

nope! right clik on the folder that u want to vary the access rights and use the options there (as explained above)
