I have been trying to figure out how to share a printer with a password, or specify which users can use it on the network, and I am having no luck. I'm on a school network using windows xp, so there are many people, so I don't want to just share the printer. This also applies to folders, can you put a password on them? I have tried disabling simple file sharing, but that did not help. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

I am interested in the same thing, I have been trying to do that also. Someone please help!

That pic is not coming out, it is all black on the top, what is it supposed to be? What are you trying to show?

sorry...I entered preview, and the board took it anyway...I was testing, on no particular thread, so dissregard that gif

as far as your question, I believe you can do what you need through gpedit, but I don't have pro installed yet, so someone with pro should be able to help you.

sorry bout those other posts

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
