share cdrom drive

ok, here's the problem, i have 2 xp comps, let's call them A and B. on both comps A and B, i shared all their cd rom drives to the network... my network's a workgroup, usually, i just need to map B's cd drive to comp A, so i can read wat's in comp B's cd rom (if there's a cd inside), and that works fine, but when i do it the other way around, trying to map a network drive with A's comp, it says drive not ready yet, but when i map A's cd rom drive on comp A, with the same address i type in to map it on B, it works properly, and i can read wat's inside

so how can i make comp B map comp A's cd drive?

Maybe the permissions are set wrong?

remove the network cd players and reinstall this has to help
