is there a way to repair/reinstall servise to default without reinstall the XP?

error:
control panel > Administrative Tools > services,
can not view the "Dependencies" tab of every services ,
prompt "WMI:Generic Failure
(is it relate to the Windows Management Instrumentation service, it started automatic).

and,
in the Event Viewer,
with Error > WinMgmt
Description :
WinMgmt could not initialize the core parts. This could be due to a badly installed version of WinMgmt, WinMgmt repository upgrade failure, insufficient disk space or insufficient memory.

so, is it possible to repair/reinstall the services to default without reinstall the XP?
(System restore no work because I dont even know what/when softwares i installed/run to cause this because i just knew the problem today.):(

hmm, have you checked to make sure all services they depend on are running?

have have you tried opening a command prompt and doing a

sfc /scannow

i cant even get into the denpendencies tab of every services.

i just try the sfc /scannow, but the problem still there,
is there somewhere in net have the listing of default value of the services?
