I think this is the right place to post.

I’m soon going to be installing Windows 2000 Server edition. I’ll also be installing Windows 2000 Service Pack three.

I have seen some place on the Internet a guide on how to rip the service pack to a copy of the installation CD, but I lost the site.

So here is what I would like to do…

Windows 2000 Server CD <copy to hard drive folder> --> Service Pack 3 <copy to hard drive folder> --> burn the CD with folder's and files combined.

I was also wondering if it would be possible to include extra software like Direct X 9 and Internet Explorer 6 SP1.

Cheers for help.

Mark.

Here ya go bud...

copy the contents of the i386 directory from the Windows 2000 CD to your HD then do the following.

example: w2ksp3_en_x86 -s:c:\directory

directory is where the i386 directory you wish to integrate a service pack into is located.

If that doesn't work for you then go here

The instructions there are pretty detailed.

Good luck

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
