Serial Trackball Driver for XP

I have a Logitech 3 button serial trackball. Logitech dropped all serial device support in its XP drivers.

My trackball comes up as a microsoft serial mouse onthe XP install, and works fine BUT I have no access to the middle button.

Any ideas how to accomplish this? Any registry hack known, or driver patch? Is there anyway to even get in touch with Microsoft to ask about getting the driver code?

HELP!

you can write to the microsoft support desk...but be forewarned..they will send you back an e-mail stating weather or not they have an answer...and if they do have an answer it costs like 3 bucks to read it! um scam!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
