sendkeys w/ vbscript ?=how to

So, can anyone tell me how to make a link that uses sendkeys to open the "find dialog" ( ctrl+f ), in Internet Explorer?

This is strictly for personal, offline use, by the way.

Personally I’d never use “sendkeys” or the “shell” group of functions due to the fact that the calls made to the system are not (at least yet) compatible between even between different versions of windows let alone other environments. They also rely on the keyboard being used as being correctly defined in the version of windows being used; also they are not transposable over (say) Western European and Chinese. Don’t use them.
