sending out files through MSN Messenger

I cannot send out anything over MSN Messenger. Anyone else having this problem? It says:

"We could not send this file because the connection is blocked. Please contact your network administrator or Internet service provider; they may be able to enable file transfers"

I have tried both with my ZoneAlarm on and off. I have been able to send files out through ICQ but couldn't receive them there. 😕

I can receive files though....Is this a problem associated with the Plus! extension or something?

You also need to turn off the XP firewall. Go to Control Panel> Network Connections> right click on your connection> properties. It's under the 'advanced' tab. You need to open some ports in ZoneAlarm if you want to keep a firewall running during transfer. If you don't want the hassle, just close ZoneAlarm until your done transferring and then crank it back up.
