Windows vista uses a protocol called link layer topology discovery (LLTD) to make the network map, but since xp doesnt support it, any PCs in your network using it wont appear on the map

this can be fixed in Windows xp SP2 by installing this official patch.

but MS hasnt released this patch for SP3, so u can either follow this instructions or google for the unofficial fix (called "WindowsXP-KB922120-v6-x86-ENU.exe").

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
