scrolling problem

I'm having a problem with webpages scrolling up and down without touching the mouse. I'm running IE6 on windows Me. I've not a clue what the problem is , any suggestions?

Just as a test I'd try a different mouse - if you have one available - and mouse driver. If the problem persists, we can rule out anything mouse related, but that would be the first place I'd look.
