when ever i open a bright window the screen JUMPS, it gets biugger for a half of a second. like the projection gets bigger then go's back to normal size, why is this happening??

It's because of the power supply in the screen. The better the PS, the less it jumps. Cheap screens usually have cheap PS:s so they jump more. Some even jump ALOT.

The effect happens when you change a large part of the screan from dark to bright and vice versa. For instance, like you say, opening a big bright window (with a significantly darker background behind it).

In short, it's nothing to worry about.

I had that problem with a Viewsonic 17" CRT. I exchanged it for a Sony and had no further problems.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
