Isn't that the point?

Previously, they only have been able to cloak very thin two-dimensional objects

Is it just me or is a thin two-dimensional object not a three dimensional object through the virtue that it is thin and has two other dimensions? How does stupid crap like that get a) written in the first place b) not get caught by an editor?
