Scheduling Tasks

I haven't had any problems with XP except this:

Whenever I create a scheduled task and run it, the task fails. The error in the log says that I may not have entered the correct password username combination:

0x8007052e: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try again.

But I am the only user/Administrator and I don't have a password. I realize that someone else asked this same question earlier, but this is different mainly because my NAV can schedule tasks. I don't really understand how it does it (I've looked at all the settings and they all look the same) but it runs...

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

when you set a task, set it as your username or administrator and try leaving the password field blank. see if that does the trick...if not you can always just set a PW and then just use autologon so you never have to deal with it and then tasks should schedule fine.

You can use TweakUI, it's the main program of the XP PowerToys package. You can download it off the front page of the main site.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
