scheduled tasks

ok this may sound like a stupid question but i cant get the scheduler to perform tasks as it tells me the password is invalid and i have tried to change it but with no luck anyone got any ideas ........ total novice by the way

Are you logged in a administrator ?

is your account set as "computer administrator" ?

You have to use the same pass as the one you logon to the computer with ....

if your password is LetmeIN it cant be entered letmein......

Go to your user account ad set another password like abcd , so you cant possibly type it wrong ....

and try again

i'm the only user of the computer and as far as i can remember i have never set up a password for it

Go to control panel >> user accounts >> Change an account >> and choose you account >> change your password


Enter a password you will remeber

Reboot

It should ask you for a password to login

then try use scheduled task
