Sb128, my sound just disappeard

Need some help here!

I was playing a divx clip in Media player and suddenly my sound disapperared.... I started my computer in Win98 and the sound was back, then I booted with XP again and there were no sound.

Tried installing new drivers...(the new ones linked from XP-erience)

Tried removing the PCI card and running on the onboard motherboard sound....

Anyone had the same problem?

What shall I do?

Run a chkdsk [drive:] [/f] from Start> Run also. Something may have gotten cross-linked. If it has, uninstall the soundcard drivers, re-boot and let XP pick it back up again. Hope that helps.

Yep. The thing I like about Win XP is that they can automatically detect your drivers and reinstall them. Fixed alot of my problems. I just uninstalled them, and rebooted.
