Hi all.

Just wanting to ask those who have experience with both apps - what are the major differences between the two? and what are the benefits of having one over the other?

btw, SAV as in Symantec (corp).

Thanx in advance for any info.

In terms of threat detection there is little difference at all.

They use the same engine, NAV 2004's engine may well be more advanced supporting deeper compressed file scanning and unpacking. I dont know if that has worked into SAV yet but under 2003 NetRyder and I did a little test and it was the same.

Has the feature list enlightened you already?

If there isnt really a pressing reason to change to one or the other i would stay with what you have.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
