I was thinking about upgrading to sata2 moby and drives, but my supplier keeps saying that there are having trouble/problems with them and don't buy sata2 stuff until it gets sorted out.

seemingly he has had a load of sata2 stuff returned because of problems with them.

whady ya think?

I would stick with just normal SATA for now. I haven't seen or heard of any major problems with SATA2, but you will rarely achieve the 150gb/s that SATA offers, let alone the 300gb/s from SATA 2.

Long story short, not cost effective atm.

The advantage to SATA2 (atleast here in the uk) is theat the drives are cheaper.

i see no reason not to get SATA2 over SATA1.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
