Samsung DVD/CD/CD-RW combo

With a samsung dvd/cd/cd-rw connected xp wont even boot, it hangs at the boot screen.

Any ideas how to fix it, neither my comp manufacturer nor samsung have bothered to reply to my emails!

Will boot to safe mode however.

boot into safe mode. Go to the device manager and remove the device. Reboot and see what happens.

You could always take it out and mail it to me and I will check it over for a few months lol 😉
