Sam and Max

Yo.

I'm playing LucasArts' "Sam & Max Hit the Road." I fondly remember it being one of the funniest games ever.

Problem is, one of the greatest things were the voices. I can't get voice to work on my machine for this game. Just the text showing up. Even if I switch it in-game to "Voice Only" or "Voice and Text", I still just get the text.

I really want this game to work at its full capabilies! Please help!

I presume you are running it under XP?

If so, have you tried changing the 'compatability mode' before running the game ie right click the .exe, select properties, compatability then choose the 'run this program in compatability mode for:' drop down menu.

Try. let me know.

Didn't work. Anyone else have any ideas? Maybe I should just build/buy a cheap box that uses 9x...
