Running screensaver as an app?

I have the soudblaster audigy and it comes with a remote control, and i want to set it up so i can run a screensaver with the remote. But it only lets me run exe. files with the remote. Is there a way that i can do this.. i would appreciate any comments on if it is possible or not....thanks

Just change the extension to ".exe" Virtually all screensavers are actually executables in disguise.
