One of my friends computers has an error that says...
"Error loading C\:progra~1\Common~2\ADDRES~1\cnbabe.dll"
"The Specified module could not be found."
Right when we sign on to Windows, which is XP btw, That error just comes up, and you can click ok but it just comes back, and even if you leave it alone and don't click ok it will just come back over and over until the entire screen is completely full with the error boxes. Does any one know what this might be and how I might fix it?

Thanks for the help,
Richy

Oh my,

INFO LINK - CLICK ME

Seems to be spyware. Try running a program like Lavasoft's Adaware. It should remove any remnants of those files.

It is connected to a program called BabeIE, seems to be spyware/jokeware. It has virus like behavior and spread, but does not have a destructive payload. It's there to more or less harass people.

If Adaware does not remove it, most updated virus scanners should pick it up as a joke program.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
