Run Command Gone

when i first got my computer there was one account administrator with no pass. So when i added a pass on to the administrator some icons in the start menu disappeared. on the left side its all the same. But on the right. all was gone besides my recent documents, connect to, and find. And now without the run command there i can use it. I tried searching for it in c but cant find it. I can still get into control panel through double clicking the my computer icon. So what im asking here is. Where is the run command located?

The run command is usually in the start menu. I say usually because it can be removed. Try using the windows key & R at the same time. That should bring it up. 😀

There is a simple fix for this:

Right click on your taskbar
Select the "Start Menu" tab
Click Customize
Advanced tab

In the "Start menu items" list you can add/remove/customize items in your start menu.

The "run command" happens to be down towards the end of this list.
