thanks Chastity , it's just my edonkey was giving me problems so i had to learn to do it very fast. on my own as i usually do. and it seemed to work ok. btw do those manuals that come with all this new things help? i mean does it save time on figuring out solutions?

i went to my router settings page

http://192.168.1.1

then to advanced>forwarding. there u put apps name, port to forward to(i think ext and int. should be same for most part, but there may be other cases) then u set machine's ip where to forward it, check enable, and click ok. that's all done. good luck
