friend is looking for one for her MUD. anyone know of any?

i know nothing about this stuff so i'll forward any questions. :)

RoT 1.4? What is this?

I personally have not heard of it. Did a search on google give you anything good?

RoT is supposedly the language MUD's (multi-user dungeon) use.

no, nothing good on google. i guess we'll have to install linux, but it seems like a lot of trouble just to compile a little 5mb thing. i don't understand why compiling programs for win32 aren't more common.

Almost everything for Windows has a binary to download and use.

BTW MUD stands for Multiple users deamon, and can be written in any language, i personally have never heard of RoT, link to where i can get the source?

Looks like you need a C compiler. Look into dev-c++, it can compile C as well.

thanks, i'll give it to her and she'll try it out. i'll get back to you.

she can't seem to find out how to get it to compile all the files as one executable.

once this thing is done, it can be hosted on a win32 machine, i hope?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
