Rootkit Warning

What's a rootkit? It's a hacker program that can be used to take over and monitor or control your system remotely. Some can even make changes to the operating system kernel - not a good thing. And they can disguise themselves to make it almost impossible to detect them with most ordinary antivirus and anti-spyware tools. Microsoft Research has created a tool called Strider Ghostbuster that can detect rootkits.

As a unix admin since 1999 I've been keeping an eye out for rootkits for a loooong time.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
