retrieve archived messages from OLE

I have a firend that had his outlook express messages archived through the auto archive feature of OLE. He was unable to find any of them by browsing his inbox or by doing "find".

Stupid question, but how do you read archived emails? He already tried a restore to yesterday in hopes of getting them back, but they are still not there.

Any suggestions?

Try this. go to file->import->messages select OLE 6, next, select "import mail from an OE6 store directory" then select the directoryw here the archive is and import it.

Sorry in the delay and thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't work.


I'm having a bad feeling that something went wrong somewhere, because even after the system restore, none of his compacted emails were there.

Now I know why I used to leave the feature turned off...
