Restoring Icons

So I was using Flyakite OSX 3 for about a month and finally decided to uninstall it as my computer got kinda slow with it. It replaced all the icons from my computer to the OSX ones.

And now when I uninstalled it, they're gone. Like for example, I can't see the icon for Mozilla Thunderbird and no icons for .jpeg file extension. Is there a way to reset all this?

TweakUI has an option to rebuild icons, which resets system icons (under Repair). Not quite sure about Mozilla though.

I just did the rebuild icons in TweakUI. Still the same. :\

You could try running the System File Checker.

Start>Run>cmd
sfc /scannow

It'll probably also restore your patched uxtheme.dll file to the original one, so make sure you keep a backup of that (it's in \WINDOWS\system32) before you run the command or you'll be stuck with Luna and Windows Classic. :)

Thanks Kunal. I'll try that soon and will let you know. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
