IT'S ST ANDREW'S DAY yesterday so what does Microsoft do? It holds a wake at an Irish bar.

Nothing wrong with wakes, but this time Microsoft is celebrating the death of Exchange Server 5.5, an eight year old product which the executives described as a "she".

We run 5.5 here at work lol... we've been supposed to go to 2003 for like 2 years but cant seem to get enough free time to do it.. maybe forwarding this to my boss will finally get me an intern.

I think they are killing support on it, I would think that's enough to make most places switch

well, the rest of the IT dept here has been leaving like rats jumping from a sinking ship so we're working with a skeleton crew all the time now, I hardly have time to do maintenence on the server configs we got now...
