I used bitpm to replace customer_opening.gif and customer_closing.gif. Now when I go to my Pix, I see the two Gifs listed. I didn't recall seeing the original Verizon opening animations listed there, so I'm wondering if I did something wrong, and if there is a way to hide these images?
If not, if I overwrite the customer_closing.gif with a new customer_closing.gif using MPT, will it become the new customer_closing.gif and work?
I also loaded up a new opening MP3 file, which doesn't work. So, I now have the unexpected benefit of a completely silent phone on startup...

Both of those mods freed up enough memory to get in 1 more high resolution picture.
