Replacing DVD-ROM Drive

I was gonna replace my DVD-ROM drive and I wanted to know how to install it. The new one I have is OEM so it didn't come with any instructions. Do I just take the wires connected to the old drive and plug them into the new one?

yep , be sure to chekc the jumper settings on the new drive. they have to be the same as on the old drive
