Renable vbs scripts?

Man, this happens when you tweak too much, but somehow through one of my applications (i remember doing it but cant remember in which application) I disabled vbs scripts from executing (was thinking virus protection). If anybody remembers an application this is an option in or if somebody knows how to renable this (it interferes with some installs i think!), I would appreciate it..

Or did you change the default handler for vbs via File Types or the registry?

Ahh your second comment led me to the solution. I checked the details for that file type extension and switched the default from edit to open.

by the way, I also have .reg files set to edit as default, do you think this might interfere with application installations?

ps the app which required the vbs for installation was the neowin autopatcher... which may have been just an low level reg tweak install method...I may set it back to edit..
