I have XP Pro and remote desktop was working fine for several weeks BEFORE I activated it. Once I activated, remote desktop stopped working with out me changing any settings.
Yes remote desktop is enabled.
Yes I have port 3389 forwarded to my machine.
I have tried switching to an abitrary port (3388) to see if that helped, and no luck.
I have a Dlink DI-704 NAT box on an @home cable connection.
What would account for it to suddenly stop working once I activated it?
Also, I was using a burned copy of XP pro and THEN I activated with a legit serial key i purchased from the Microsoft store which is when it stopped working. Would that have anthing to do with it? Maybe a registry discrepency somewhere? I'm pretty confused.
