here's my setup
I have Win2000 Pro running active directory and a domain
The client machines are on XP
I have an administrator user account that's member of Domain Admin and Domain Controller
but when I tried to office Remote Assistance
I get an error that says

"Access to requested resource has been disabled by your administrator"

what's the problem?

thanks

The account also has to be a member of the local machine's Administrator group, as well as the Domain Admin group

You need to allow Remote Access to your computer.
You find this setting in System Properties.

You also need to open/forward port 3389 if you use a NAT device (router) or firewall
on the server machine (the one you are connecting to).

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
