When I get my broadband connection going....I want to be able to remotely access my system from work...and I know there are several options out there...I was wondering what most of you guys use? I have it narrowed down to 3 or 4...

1. Terminal Services - my main workstation at home is a Windows XP Professional workstation so I know I could use Remote Desktop Connection.

2. VNC - I use this alot at work on my servers. Its pretty lightweight as far as system resources go.

3. PCAnywhere - I could run the Host Only version of this on my workstation...we use this alot at work too.

Once I decide on a solution...I will then need to track down what ports will need to be forwarded and so forth eh?

VNC here. I've used terminal services in the past, but I prefer VNC :)

gballard: Take a look at UltraVNC. It's got some great features that the original VNC server/client doesn't have, and the video hook driver speeds up performance quite a bit in 2k/XP.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
