Reinstalling a GFX card

Please help - I am trying to reinstall a GF2 MX in my machine after using a Kyro II. . .the machine boots and hangs after the white bar has been diplayed - before the XP logo appears. . .

Specs:-

1.6 Athlon XP
512mb ram
Windows XP pro
Was a Kyro II - trying to reinstall GF2 MX

any ideas - all help appreciated. . .

did you totally remove the old drivers from the Kyro card first?

There could be conflicts with the kyro and the MX card

On the hercules site they have a faq on how to totally remove old drivers. is very helpful.
