Registry hassle

RealPlayer automatically enters a registry entry that launches the RealTray every time RealPlayer is opened. Deleting the entry is pointless because it just makes it again whenever RealPlayer is launched, and I tried disabling the registry entry with Customizer XP from tweaknow.com but then RealPlayer just makes a redundant active entry. Is there any way I can prevent RealPlayer from applying this entry to my registry?

you could look in the "customize" or "options" inside of realplayer and disable something like "Launch RealTray...", or try right clicking on the realtray and choosing diable, or don't launch. (sorry, i don't have realplayer infront of me to give more details)

Problem solved

Upon further examination I found that Customizer XP's keeping the registry entry entered but disabled was the reason the RealTray kept popping up. RealPlayer wanted to put an active registry entry because of the inactive one regardless of whether or not I chose to disable it inside RealPlayer's options. Thanks.

Good job. Also good job on posting the solution. Helps anyone else that has the same problem.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
