How can one reformat in XP home. I created a start up disk and well fdisk isn't on it like it used to be. I copy and pasted format.com on my startup disk, but well, that says it won't work in dos mode. Any help would be appreciated.

Boot to your XP CD and either exit to a command prompt and execute the format command or begin a new installation and within a screen or two you'll be asked if you want to reformat.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
