Recycle Bin

Here is the problem with the recycle bin. I have read few months ago the same problem and this is it. Suddenly, one day during regular work on my computer, my r. bin became full and when I tried to empty it I got the question ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE WINDOWS? Anyone have the idea what to do. Thanks

LOL, never saw this one before. Go for it... you won't be able to ax any system files through the recycle bin, it's hard doing that on purpose.

You know, on second thought you might want to run a complete system scan with your anti-virus program and see if this is some kind of virus trick. Also, open up your recycle bin and see what's in there called windows.

you know.. he's right... you should do that - still interested on why it would do that....

This happened to me too! I rebooted and it stopped doing it. Don't ask me why it happens, but a reboot cured it for me.

I have the same problem in 98 SE, on my other partitioin disk. I tried rebooting in XP, rebuilding icons with tweak in 98 SE and nothing. PLEASE HELP if you have any suggestions.
