is it possible to record a real audio stream from a web site and them covert it to just plain audio? if it is what do i need to pull it off?

thanks

I bought this utility called Total Recorder, and it does the job well. I don't have the link, but google does. :)

Right click, save the .ram file, open it with notepad, get the URL for the .rm file (only if it's http served, if it's not, then an app is needed, like the one funky mentioned.) then save that.

Converting real audio to any other format only acheives a larger file size, the quality will still be that of the stream (ie, poor compared to a 192k mp3 or 2.0 ogg)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
