Recent documents in registry

Hi

I think I remember reading somewhere on EX-perience that there is somewhere in the registry that keeps a list of the recent programs that have been running. Does anyone know where it is please?

One place they are kept is in a folder in 'documents & settings\recent or my recent documents. Not sure which one. I get lost in xp. For the registry try a seach of the document name in regedit & see where you end up.

Thanks but it was not recent documents i was after probably my fault for not being specific.

Apparently there is a log within the registry that keeps a log of the programs and documents that have been used that day.

This is what I am after, I know it was featured on Xp-erience once and that is how I know it exists.

Can anyone help please
