i ran that sisoft sandra thing. and it said my refresh rate is 60hertz or something and should be 75hertz.

i changed it but the resolution changed and things seemed smaller. so its currently running at 60hertz still.

should i change it to 70hertz?

running a geforce 4 agpx8 on a 19inch monitor.

cheers

The faster the refresh rate, the easier on the eyes it becomes. That is the main thing. I personally run mine at 80hertz. As a side note, if your a gamer, it will increase your FPS as well.

you'll want to run at a resoulution of 1280x960, 1152x864 or 1024x768 at around 85-100hz if you can higher if possible. it reduces eyestrain and removes one cause of headaches.

Hey EP! All good with me, applying for Microsoft MVP right now, should have done this a while ago.

Notifications don't work, I only found your response by coming back to hunt up some threads, if you want, give me your email address so we can keep in touch easier!

EP, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there!
