I have Asus A7V333 mobo with 256Mb 2700 ram, my question is
what speed should my ram be running at ? I have used sandra 2001 and it says its running at 266, is this right or just a dumb question.

PC2700 should run at 333MHz, with the KT333. FSB should be 133 and 2.7 BGPS between ram and cpu

if you look in your bios ezergeezer you will have dram settings...

you can mess around with your CLK settings... or set it to AUTO and it will automatically pick up the proper clock of the memory...

unless you have a 333fsb cpu.. the fsb will not have much to do wiith the actual memory clock... though the higher you clock your cpu's front side bus... the faster your memory performs (not directly proportionate but will increase performance)...

when you boot.. it should tell you on the boot screen the speed of the memory... :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
