I have a RAID motherboard with the options of off 0 and 1. I want to add 1 more CD-ROM drive (read speeds) and one more hard drive. I do not want to have the drives melded as 1, and I do not want a backup of it. I already tried leaving the raid off and just plugging in the CD, but this did not work, BIOS did not recognize that. How can I make is so that I can view the CD-ROM and HD as singular drives, not as badups, or strippers. (Data stripping)

1. To use the drives as single drives, RAID should be OFF.
2. You cannot use CD-drives in the RAID connectors. Since there's no point in RAIDing CD-drives, the RAID connectors only supports HDD:s.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
